  2. Can you really have too much of a good thing?

I am going to say NO WAY! Especially when it's love. It seems these days that love withholding time is becoming a rare thing. I get so excited when I see couples years into marriage that are truly and genuinely happy. That happy that almost makes you want to throw up ;) Every love story has a beginning and some have ends. This love is one I would put my money on that will never end.
Thanks you Kelsey and Robert for showing me that endless love is still out there. And true joy is in the world. You guys are awesome!

  4. Dear Camera,

I love you so very much. I am sorry that I have neglected you for my own personal enjoyment. This year I vow to use you so much more. To become your best friend, to know you inside and out. To get back to my roots and not use outer lighting so much. I promise to capture the most gorgeous and captivating images. I promise to capture not only other people's moments, but so many more of mine. How is it that I own you and I never really take time to just gather those memories of my own family? I know, I take a bazillion pictures, but I want even more! I promise to use you. To make the most of you. I do not want you to feel neglected anymore. And if the fates allow, I will save up all my pennies to buy you some new glass wear this coming fall. I know how badly your eyes need them :D
Thanks for always being there for me. This year I will be here for YOU.
With all my love and adoration,
    Hollie

  5. Changes are coming in 2010!

I could not be more excited for this upcoming year!!! I have so many plans, and not just for my photography but home life as well.
I am working on my lists that will be everywhere so everyday I am reminded to do things!

My biggest goal this year will be to finally get my website up and running! I know, it's taken me almost 3 years! I am having so much fun designing my own look to be unique to me. The possibilities are so endless and that is a tad overwhelming, but slow and steady wins the race right?

I will have set prices, coordinating designs on all my things and some amazing products to offer. I am so very excited!

So stand fast while I take the journey through this next year!

I seriously am so excited and so impatient to shoot the bridals and then their gorgeous early spring wedding!
Thanks Natalie and Kyle for an awesome shoot!

  7. Sugar & Spice and Family Oh So Nice!

What an adventure two little girls can be! This family is just as sweet and darling as can be. I always love watching families interact together. From the love clearly there between mom and dad to the sisterly bond. Adorable curls, long lashes and red nails. These girls were pro's in front of the camera! tWhat a blast to photograph! Not to mention the gorgeous princesses these sweet girls are!

  8. Castles, Bellys, and Baby Blue Eyes

I love maternity pictures! There is just something so awesome about that pregnant glow and the excitement surrounding the arrival of a new family member. Being a mother of 3 myself I know exactly how it feels. And poor Leslie was tortured with weeks of contractions that never put her into full labor and was finally relieved to meet her new baby boy a few days past her due date! But I am glad her baby didn't come as fast as she was thinking, otherwise we would not have been able to get in these awesome family pictures!
We had a beautiful sunlit evening at the base of the Provo mountains at the Castle Amphitheater. Such a gorgeous location. And her son with his gorgeous baby blue eyes was just as handsome as ever!
Congrats Leslie on a beautiful family and a beautiful new baby I have yet to meet! :)

  9. Urban Boys

There is nothing like shooting a beautiful family full of boys! So where do you go to, to bring out the rugged, energetic-ness that is BOYS??? Easy, the Star Mill in American Fork is the perfect setting with it's aged textures, funky colors and down right dirty looks. I LOVE IT!!!
Melanie and Jordan and their crew of 4 boys were a blast to shoot. We braved the rain and a fall in the creek and still ended with some amazing shots!
